On June 14, 2024, Transcy by FireGroup proudly hosted over 150 students from leading universities — including HCMUS, UIT, UEH, and FTU — for an inspiring Company Tour as part of the Heading for the Future – Data Analysis Competition.
The event offered students a glimpse into how Transcy builds global e-commerce technology and nurtures talent for the future of SaaS innovation.
Inside the World of Global E-Commerce and Localization
During the visit, students learned how Transcy by FireGroup develops world-class translation and localization solutions for Shopify merchants worldwide. The team provided a behind-the-scenes look at how technology, data, and creativity come together to remove language barriers and help online stores reach customers across borders.
Through interactive discussions, the students gained perspective on what it means to work in a global SaaS company — from understanding real product challenges to appreciating the impact of cultural empathy in software design.
Building a Purposeful Career: The “Ikigai” Mindset
Following the tour, FireGroup’s Head of Culture & Internal Communications led an engaging session about “Ikigai” — a Japanese philosophy of aligning passion, skill, contribution, and profession. The talk encouraged students to discover their personal purpose and explore how they can make an impact in the fast-growing world of e-commerce technology.
Turning Data into Insights
To support their competition goals, Transcy’s Head of Division introduced practical concepts in data visualization, showing students how to transform raw data into stories that inspire action.
The workshop bridged theory and practice, demonstrating how data analysis fuels innovation in product development, localization, and user experience.

The tour concluded with an open Q&A session, where students asked thoughtful questions about career development, product management, and working in global tech environments. The session reflected Transcy’s culture of openness, collaboration, and mentorship.
